A huge thankyou this Volunteers week, to all our amazing dedicated, talented volunteers. Your time and enthusiasm is what makes us a lets-talk2day family
thankyou from all of us at lets-talk2day

A huge well done to Nu for delivering our weekly women's chair-based exercise sessions, which have gone from strength to strength. The group has grown steadily, with more women joining each week to improve their physical health, wellbeing, confidence, and social connections in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The popularity of the sessions means we are now looking at moving to a larger room to accommodate everyone who wants to attend – a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the positive impact the group is having within our community.
Thank you to every woman who attends each week, encourages one another, and helps create such a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Your commitment and enthusiasm make these sessions so special.
Together we are building stronger, healthier communities, one step, stretch, and smile at a time.

Our Wellbeing Friday was packed with energy, learning, laughter, and community connection.
Days like these demonstrate the power of bringing people together in a welcoming and inclusive space. From building confidence and skills to improving health and wellbeing, every conversation and activity helps strengthen our community.. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and commitment make Lets-Talk2day a place where people feel connected, valued, and supported. Together, we are reducing isolation, improving wellbeing, and creating stronger, healthier communities. ..

It was a joy for all the service users and volunteers to be told we received the Community fund from National Lottery,
This funding will help us continue providing vital mental health and wellbeing support, language assistance, community advocacy, health navigation, and social connection opportunities for people across Liverpool.
Through this support, we will be able to:
💜 Reduce isolation and improve mental wellbeing
🗣️ Provide language support and interpretation to remove barriers to accessing services
🤝 Train and support Community Health Navigation Champions
🌍 Reach diverse communities through culturally responsive support
📚 Deliver wellbeing activities, training, and confidence-building opportunities
🏥 Help people access healthcare, community services, and practical support
🌱 Strengthen volunteering opportunities and community leadership
This funding will help us continue creating safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect, build confidence, improve wellbeing, and feel part of their community.
Thank you to National Lottery players for making this possible and helping us create stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

Men's groups have been busy in both the classroom , attending events out doors to improve mental health and wellbeing and improving their conversational English
Sometimes supporting mental health is about creating space… space to breathe, share experiences, build friendships, and feel part of something bigger.
Moments like these help reduce isolation, build confidence, and remind us that wellbeing grows through connection, community, and belonging.

Join the Community Lunch and activity groups each Friday at St Philemon's where the community can get together talk about health and wellbeing, participate in some light chair based exercise, art and crafts and talk to others in your own language, reduce social isolation in a warm friendly hub - big thanks to feeding Liverpool and Neighbourly for assisting in food provision
"i come each week to the knitting group so meet new people and get out the home, only place i have" AS.

Umama delivered a talk on mental trauma discussing what it truly means, how it can affect individuals, and the importance of recognising its signs early. We explored healthy coping strategies, the power of community support, and how empathy and open conversations can help in the healing process.
It was truly meaningful to engage with people, raise awareness, and remind everyone that mental wellbeing matters just as much as physical health..
