UMEED means hope - we want people to know that there is hope and that dementia support is available. In many communities, there is no word that translates to dementia, as it doesn't exist in their language. Imagine trying to explain what dementia is to a family member or loved one without the right terms. At Lets-Talk, we believe that providing mental health support and information in various languages and formats should be easily accessible to everyone.

We offer a variety of activities and awareness sessions as part of our dementia support initiatives, designed to assist individuals with dementia, their families, and carers. Join our peer support engagement with dementia friends who can converse in multiple languages. Feel free to pop in for a chat, a cuppa, or an activity. Our experienced staff is dedicated to providing mental health support and ensuring you feel your best at UMEED.

If you wish to attend one of the dementia support sessions, please get in touch. They are currently held once a month on a Friday, followed by a community lunch. Additionally, if you're interested in participating in activities, professional health talks, or if you need some mental health support or advice, feel free to reach out.
